About Goran
Goran Đurović is the Founder and Executive Director of One World LLC, with more than 25 years of experience in the field of organizational development. His professional work spans organizational management, strategic planning, public advocacy, project cycle management, and human resources development.
He has extensive experience working as a trainer and consultant for NGOs, international organizations, and local and national public administration institutions. Throughout his career, he has contributed to strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations and advancing public administration reform processes in Montenegro.
Professional Background
As a consultant, Goran participated in developing the first National Training Strategy for Local Self-Government Units, as well as in drafting key public administration reform strategies. His work includes long-term engagement in designing and implementing capacity-building programs across civil society and public sector institutions.
In the area of organizational development and adult learning methodology, he delivers Training of Trainers (ToT) programs. As a certified trainer in project cycle management for EU funds, he has delivered more than 100 training sessions for:
- state and local civil servants
- government employees
- representatives of NGOs
- private sector representatives
He has also provided numerous consultancy services and specialized training sessions on strategic planning for municipalities, ministries, and non-governmental organizations. Additionally, he serves as a lecturer in a specialized program of the Human Resources Management Authority focused on preparing strategic documents within state administration bodies.
Engagement in Public Administration & Governance
Goran was engaged as a consultant in preparing:
- The Work Program of the Government of Montenegro (2021)
- The Medium-Term Work Program of the Government of Montenegro (2022–2024)
He served as:
- Head of the Montenegrin Office of the regional EU project TACSO
- Program and Executive Director of the Centre for Development of Non-Governmental Organizations (CRNVO)
He is currently the Director of the NGO Media Center, where he contributes to drafting essential regulations and strategic documents related to media operations and the development of civil society. His expertise is frequently sought at national and international conferences addressing media freedom, public broadcasters, and civil society development.
